Agile Business Analyst (AgileBA®) Foundation and Practitioner Training Course

Agile’s influence on the project management industry continues to rise at pace. Increasing numbers of organisations and project professionals are embracing Agile tools and frameworks as they aim to increase the success of – and return on investment from – projects, product / software development and other change initiatives.

Despite originating in the software development arena, Agile methods and frameworks are becoming increasingly popular in a wide variety of industries and projects as the benefits over more traditional frameworks and methodologies are realised.

As organizations and individuals embrace and transition to Agile ways of working, the roles of key personnel can evolve significantly, requiring fresh guidance, concepts and techniques. Prior to AgileBA, there was little in the way of detailed guidance directly addressing the role, responsibilities and skills of the Agile Business Analyst.

Agile Business Analyst training (Agile BA training) offers useful, practical and comprehensive guidance on the role of the Business Analyst working in an agile way (the Agile Business Analyst).

  • Presented within the framework of DSDM, a proven framework for agile project management, so you can be sure you’re benefitting from tried & tested best practice.
  • Helps you discover a range of popular Agile techniques and be able to implement them the day after training.
  • Offers vital support during projects. Agile Business Analyst Certification will help to position you as a valuable asset for project teams.
  • Is a great addition to an AgilePM® qualification – the concepts and context are shared, but the AgileBA qualification enables you to step into the business analyst role in an Agile project environment.

Business Analysts play a crucial role in projects, through analysis of the organization’s needs and the alignment of business projects to those needs. Introducing an agile approach has a significant impact on the role of the Business Analyst, on their existing skills and their way of working. Whilst traditional skills are still valuable, new skills and ways of working need to be adopted to harness the benefits of a new way of working and to appreciate the different relationships with co-workers and stakeholders.

Agile BA training offers useful, practical and comprehensive guidance on the role of the Business Analyst working in an agile way (the Agile Business Analyst). Based on the Agile Business Consortium’s well-established Agile Project Framework, the guidance gives context to the Business Analyst role beyond the individual project, in relation to organizational mission and strategy, and provides additional depth and guidance for the Business Analyst role.

This 4 days Agile Business Analyst training (aka Agile business analysis training) and certification course enables business analysis professionals to develop their understanding and proficiency in adopting and applying the AgileBA guidance, providing:

Virtual classroom trainings are held using video conferencing software, lead by a trainer. Delegates may attend the sessions using PC, laptop or tablets.
