Project IN Controlled Environments (PRINCE2) is a project management method widely adopted around the world, used by people and organizations from wide-ranging industries and sectors. PRINCE2 provides a tried and tested project management method from which organizations and individuals can benefit.
PRINCE2, by its developed nature, is generic so that it can be applied to any project regardless of project scale, type, organization, geography or culture. The PRINCE2 method addresses project management with four integrated elements of principles, themes, processes and the project environment.
AXELOS (the PRINCE2 accrediting body) has officially changed the name of ‘PRINCE2 2017’ to PRINCE2 6th Edition, as of 1st January 2020. This has been done to ensure that the PRINCE2 language remains aligned with that used by other frameworks in the project management industry.
