Today's organizations exist in a climate of constant and increasing change. Organizations that have learned how to transform themselves through effective leadership and strategic control are more likely to survive and prosper. Programme management is increasingly being recognized as key to enabling organizations to manage that transformation.
Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) represents proven good practice in the successful delivery of transformational change through the application of programme management. MSP has been adopted by many organizations within both the public and private sectors and was also used to help organize the London 2012 Olympics.
MSP provides a structured framework and approach to programme management that can help organizations avoid these pitfalls and achieve their goals.

Programme management using Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) creates a framework that enables the organization to align the delivery of programmes and projects to organizational strategy; and to focus on the delivery of outcomes and benefits, while mitigating risks and actively engaging stakeholders at all levels. MSP can be used in conjunction with all the other best-practice products (such as PRINCE2 and MoP) and international or internal organizational standards.
The Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Foundation certification introduces the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) method and terminology. The Foundation certification is also a prerequisite if you wish to undertake the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner certifications.
The purpose of the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP® Practitioner certification is to confirm whether you understand the MSP guidance well enough to apply it to your own work and are able to act as an informed member of a programme management team. That is, someone who is responsible for managing, leading, supporting or advising on work within an MSP environment.
