Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) 4th Edition Foundation & Practitioner Training Course

Today's organizations exist in a climate of constant and increasing change. Organizations that have learned how to transform themselves through effective leadership and strategic control are more likely to survive and prosper. Programme management is increasingly being recognized as key to enabling organizations to manage that transformation.

Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) represents proven good practice in the successful delivery of transformational change through the application of programme management. MSP has been adopted by many organizations within both the public and private sectors and was also used to help organize the London 2012 Olympics.

MSP provides a structured framework and approach to programme management that can help organizations avoid these pitfalls and achieve their goals.

Course Information

Overview

Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) training course and certification provides delegates with a structured framework (for organizations of all sizes and from all sectors) to improve practices, offer better services and more effectively prepare for the future.

Programme management using Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) creates a framework that enables the organization to align the delivery of programmes and projects to organizational strategy; and to focus on the delivery of outcomes and benefits, while mitigating risks and actively engaging stakeholders at all levels. MSP can be used in conjunction with all the other best-practice products (such as PRINCE2 and MoP) and international or internal organizational standards.

The Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Foundation certification introduces the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) method and terminology. The purpose of the Foundation certification is to determine whether you know and understand the MSP guidance well enough to be able to work with a team involved in the management of a programme or act as an informed member of a programme office, business change team or project delivery team working within an environment supporting Managing Successful Programmes (MSP).

The Foundation certification is also a prerequisite if you wish to undertake the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner certifications.

The purpose of the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP® Practitioner certification is to confirm whether you understand the MSP guidance well enough to apply it to your own work and are able to act as an informed member of a programme management team. That is, someone who is responsible for managing, leading, supporting or advising on work within an MSP environment. You should also be capable of applying the MSP guidance in a relatively uncomplicated programme within an environment that uses Managing Successful Programmes (MSP).

This level is also a prerequisite for programme management professionals progressing toward the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Advanced Practitioner certification.

This 5 days Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) 4th Edition Foundation & Practitioner level training course has been carefully designed to equip delegates with the practical understanding of the topics to ensure delegates feel confident in the application of the knowledge acquired.

  • Explain the purpose and areas of focus of the defined roles
