Kanban is a lean method to manage and improve work across human systems. This approach aims to manage work by balancing demands with available capacity, and by improving the handling of system-level bottlenecks.
Work items are visualized to give participants a view of progress and process, from start to finish—usually via a Kanban board. Work is pulled as capacity permits, rather than work being pushed into the process when requested.
This course is aimed at helping professionals gain the skills in getting the work organised; Improving visibility, communication and collaboration within their professional settings. Kanban System Improvement (KPM 2) training will cover the advanced topics of managing with Kanban on day to day basis, using Feedback loops, Operating at scale, and using effective metrics. This training will help professionals gain the knowledge necessary for rollout and daily operation of a Kanban system and also help learn how to manage, optimise, scale and evolve it over time.
